New Jersey Memories

This is the most recent painting in my figurative series. This isn’t one of my memories, but rather a friend’s photo from her childhood in New Jersey. I love the juxtaposition of the father and daughter with the car in the background. The father and daughter shot could almost be from any time but the car adds the element of a vintage time. It seems like a simpler time and easier memories.
